Quick Glass Bead Ring

This is a very fast way to make a statement ring.

Use any larger bead you like.  You’ll also need 18-20 gauge wire (I used gold colored Zebra wire) and a wrapping mandrel or dowel of the right size for your finger.

The process is fairly simple: slide the bead onto the wire to about the midway point and bend the wire 90 degrees down on either side of the bead.  Holding the bead to the mandrel (or dowel), bend the wire around (one clockwise, one counter-clockwise) around the dowel. Then twist the wire ends around the bead repeatedly until you like the look. Use a pliers to carefully tuck the wire ends in and under one of the wraps.  It’s that easy!
